Technician – Heavy Vehicle Repair & Maintenance

About the role

The Technician is responsible for delivering high‑quality repairs and maintenance on heavy vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction, safety and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare for maintenance or repair events by ensuring the correct information, tools and spare parts are available.
• Perform maintenance or repairs following established methods, standards and safety guidelines, completing work on schedule.
• After the job, minimise invoicing lead time by clearly documenting work performed and communicating any follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• Matric certificate (or N3) or equivalent.
• Qualified Diesel Technician with a Trade Test Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of workshop experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles.
• Current employment in the present role for at least 1 year.
