Technical Support Analyst – French Speaking

About the role

DigiCert is seeking a Technical Support Analyst who is fluent in French to join its Cape Town support team. You will act as the primary point of contact for French‑speaking customers, collaborating with product, engineering and marketing teams to resolve issues and ensure a smooth experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide world‑class customer service via tickets, email, phone and chat.
• Partner with technical support engineers to troubleshoot and resolve client issues.
• Document incidents accurately in the CRM system and contribute to self‑help knowledge base using KCS principles.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of DigiCert’s SSL, PKI and related products.
• Meet productivity targets such as ticket volume, response time and resolution time.

Required profile

• Professional working proficiency in French.
• At least 1 year of technical support or IT client‑facing experience.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of Internet principles, networking protocols and VPN.
• Familiarity with PKI, SSL, code signing, HTML, DNS, S/MIME and SMTP.
• Experience with UNIX scripting and web‑server administration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Apache (OpenSSL) and Linux administration.
• Optional certifications such as CISSP, MCSE or CCNA are advantageous.
