Technical Operations Engineer II

About the role
WorldAware is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer II to manage and support its cloud‑based environment, handling servers, applications and databases with a focus on reliability and security.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU, memory, disk usage and response times.
- Write or modify basic scripts using Bash or PowerShell to automate administration tasks.
- Maintain operational, configuration and documentation procedures.
- Perform system and application patching and vulnerability mitigation.
- Support production Docker clusters (ECS/EKS) and troubleshoot production issues.
Required profile
- 5+ years of system administration experience on Linux and/or Windows platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
- Experience with hybrid infrastructures on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to participate in a 24x7 on‑call rotation.
