About the role

Mediclinic is building a talent pool for a new Support Resource Officer position that will launch in January 2027. The role will help shape a high‑performing customer experience environment within an emergency contact centre, coordinating patient care and monitoring vital information across multiple electronic platforms.

Key responsibilities

  • Dispatch emergency vehicles using the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.
  • Receive, prioritise, log and process all emergency and non‑emergency telephone calls and alerts.
  • Provide basic contact‑centre administration and support to ensure timely response to incidents.

Required profile

  • Essential education: Grade 12; Desired: BAA/Level 3 first‑aid certification.
  • Essential experience: exposure to a contact centre or emergency contact centre environment.
  • Desired experience: 1–3 years of dispatching in an EMS contact‑centre.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Vehicle dispatching skills.
  • Knowledge of emergency care procedures.
  • Strong typing ability.
