Supply Planner – Stellenbosch

About the role

The Supply Planner will develop and maintain a feasible, cost‑effective master supply plan that aligns consensus demand, customer orders and inventory requirements. This plan drives weekly production, procurement and distribution activities and supports the S&OP process.

Key responsibilities

• Create and adjust the master supply plan for end‑to‑end supply planning.
• Manage network master planning and develop recovery actions for plan deviations.
• Communicate delays and changes to relevant functional teams.
• Make near‑term, risk‑based sourcing decisions to ensure day‑to‑day operations.
• Track and meet master‑planning metrics and KPIs.
• Analyse and report on inventory, process execution and production planning issues.
• Lead short‑ and long‑term supply planning to balance forecast, orders, cost and capacity.
• Identify and mitigate risks to factory output, including material shortages and resource constraints.
• Conduct “what‑if” scenario analysis and recommend batch‑size changes, re‑routing or outsourcing.
• Maintain S&OP reporting, ensure new products are scheduled correctly, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
• Certification in Supply Chain and Materials Management (SAPICS CPIM).
• 3+ years of operational experience in supply chain, inventory management, replenishment and production planning.
• 3+ years of experience in the CPG beverage industry.
