About the role
The Stockroom Supervisor will oversee the receiving, processing and dispatch of merchandise for the Sportscene store at Canal Walk. This role ensures stock is managed efficiently, supports the sales floor, and contributes to an excellent customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide feedback to management on stock issues and movements.
- Manage receiving and dispatching of stock within specified time frames.
- Facilitate efficient rotation of stock from the stockroom to the sales floor.
- Maintain world‑class neatness and housekeeping standards.
- Control shrinkage in line with company standards.
- Support sales targets by ensuring product availability.
- Drive the ultimate customer experience through effective stock management.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
- Retail experience (essential).
- At least two years of stockroom experience (advantageous).
- Hospitality background (advantageous).
- Ability to give direction to a stockroom team.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
