Solutions Architect, Retail & Consumer Goods

About the role

As a Solutions Architect focused on Retail and Consumer Goods, you will partner with strategic AWS customers to translate business challenges into cloud‑based solutions. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers accelerate mission‑critical projects and realize long‑term business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with strategic customers to recommend best‑practice architectures aligned with their business goals.
• Lead architecture reviews, white‑boarding sessions, demos and technical workshops.
• Build and maintain technical relationships, acting as the customer's trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with account management, professional services, support, product teams and the AWS partner ecosystem.
• Share the voice of the customer to influence product and service improvements.
• Represent AWS at conferences and public speaking events.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation with a desire to continuously learn AWS services.
• Ability to understand customer needs and provide prescriptive guidance.
• Creativity in linking technology to tangible business solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to diverse audiences.
