Solutions Architect I

About the role

The Solutions Architect I will design and implement high‑quality data, application and technology architectures that support the business needs of the OK Franchise division. Working closely with project managers, business analysts and other stakeholders, you will ensure that solutions align with corporate architecture standards and retail industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Create logical and physical solution designs that meet business blueprints, non‑functional requirements and delivery constraints.
• Document the current technology landscape using clear language and visualisation techniques.
• Research emerging IT trends in retail and propose suitable alternatives for assigned portfolios.
• Maintain the enterprise architecture repository and ensure solution quality across multiple projects.
• Partner with senior architects to define and develop appropriate solutions, and support the solutions architecture team on all assigned projects.
• Review architecture deliverables throughout the system lifecycle for compliance with standards.
• Identify critical deficiencies in existing solutions and escalate for timely remediation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to understand business requirements within a retail context.
• Experience documenting technology landscapes and creating visual architecture artefacts.
• Proactive attitude toward staying current with IT trends and emerging technologies.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including business analysts and project managers.
