Software Engineer

About the role

impact.com is modernising its core commerce partnership platform and needs a Software Engineer to help replace a legacy monolith with a modular, event‑driven architecture. You will work on high‑impact features that directly influence the growth of thousands of global brands.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement clean, maintainable code for new modular services.
• Collaborate with product, sales and operations teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in the architectural transition from a monolith to a modular and event‑driven system.
• Apply domain‑driven design, hexagonal architecture and test‑driven development practices.
• Continuously improve development processes through experimentation and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong foundation in computer science concepts such as algorithms, data structures and system design.
• Experience or strong interest in domain‑driven design and modern architectural patterns.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑moving, cross‑functional environment.
