Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join a leading technology company focused on high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms. The position is fully remote and ideal for new graduates who are eager to design and build scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed backend services using modern programming languages.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code while adhering to best‑practice standards.
• Profile, debug, and optimise system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver features on schedule.

Required profile

• New‑grad or junior‑level engineer with a strong foundation in computer science concepts.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges in e‑commerce.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience or familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud‑native development.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
