Site Manager – Pretoria

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the daily operations of a residential construction site in Pretoria. The role is fully accountable for resource control, trade sequencing, contractor and team management, quality documentation, engineer sign‑offs and handover of completed units, while reading drawings accurately and reporting progress and risk to management.

Key responsibilities

• Control site resources and schedule trade sequencing to meet programme targets.
• Manage contractors and on‑site teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality control documentation and obtain engineer sign‑offs.
• Oversee the handover process of completed residential units to clients.
• Report progress and risk to senior management.

Required profile

• Matric qualification plus a diploma or degree in construction.
• At least 10 years of experience in residential construction.
• Proven site management across the full build cycle to handover.
• Accurate interpretation and implementation of construction drawings and details.
• Practical competence with site measuring equipment such as dumpy levels and DCP.
• Valid driver’s licence.
