Site Manager – Estate Protection Services

About the role

The Estate Protection Services Division in Oubaai, George is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead security operations and ensure client satisfaction. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, oversee security personnel, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide security advice and conduct threat and risk assessments for clients.
• Manage client liaison, maintain professional relationships, and address complaints promptly.
• Oversee manpower, equipment, rostering and ensure daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
• Enforce contractual requirements, company disciplinary code, and lead disciplinary hearings.
• Lead health & safety initiatives, resolve security officer issues, and ensure SOP compliance.
• Coordinate training, conduct after‑hours visits, and act as standby manager for shift changes.
• Attend urgent meetings and calls, including on rest days.
• Manage incident investigations, reporting and mitigation.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of physical and logical security practices.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• PSIRA Grade A certification.
• Proven experience in a managerial or similar security role.
• Understanding of risk management, business impact analysis and counter‑measure techniques.
• Confidence dealing with the public and strong communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and any other South African language.
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with access security control systems.
