Senior Technical Sales – Modular Process Solutions

About the role

This senior‑level technical sales position focuses on selling modular process engineering equipment to the mining and mineral processing sector. The role combines high‑value project management, tender development and client relationship building while leading a small technical sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical sales activities for modular process engineering solutions.
• Drive tender bids, develop proposals and manage client submissions.
• Oversee multiple large‑scale projects (R30m–R50m) simultaneously.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in mining and mineral processing.
• Sell modular equipment, systems and engineered solutions.
• Coordinate with office‑based sales teams for quotations and technical inputs.
• Manage and guide two indirect reports.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of senior technical sales experience, preferably equipment‑focused.
• Proven ability to manage R30m–R50m projects, handling several concurrently.
• Experience in modular structures and the mining/mineral processing industry is highly beneficial.
• Leadership experience guiding technical sales teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
