Senior Strategy Consultant – Freelance AI Project (MBB)

About the role

We are looking for a senior strategy consultant to help design realistic consulting scenarios that train advanced AI systems. This remote, project‑based role focuses on translating real‑world consulting engagements into structured learning environments for generative models.

Key responsibilities

• Build realistic consulting project environments, including industry context, financials, constraints, and incomplete information.
• Design structured consulting tasks for AI agents such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategy, operational diagnosis, and benchmarking.
• Define evaluation criteria, grading frameworks, and golden‑answer solutions to calibrate an LLM‑based grading system.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at a top‑tier firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems into analytical plans.
• Experience building financial models, market analyses, and synthesising findings from messy inputs.
• Track record of delivering client‑ready recommendations under time pressure and defending them under uncertainty.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑structuring capabilities.
• Familiarity with consulting deliverables and financial modelling concepts.
