Senior Project Manager – CDAIO (Hybrid, Johannesburg)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale data and digital transformation programmes within a financial services environment. The role is hybrid, based in Johannesburg, and will run until the end of 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver complex transformation projects on time and within budget.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder expectations across multiple teams.
• Coordinate Agile, Scrum and SAFe ceremonies and ensure alignment with programme objectives.
• Oversee cloud and data platform integration and migration activities.
• Report progress to senior leadership and adjust plans as needed.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in project management, preferably in financial services or banking.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale data or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of risk and issue management in complex environments.
• Experience working in hybrid or remote settings.
