Senior Director, Global Collections

About the role

Powerfleet is looking for a Senior Director, Global Collections to create and lead a Collections Center of Excellence that spans all company entities worldwide. Reporting to the CFO, this senior leader will shape global collections standards, improve cash conversion, and ensure the health of accounts receivable through a matrixed operating model.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a global Collections Center of Excellence, defining consistent standards, processes and performance metrics across regions.
• Design and implement a matrixed collections operating model, partnering with regional finance leaders while providing functional leadership to collections teams.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex disputes, high‑value payment plans, service suspension decisions and legal referrals.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Revenue Operations, Treasury and IT to align collections activities with broader business objectives.
• Provide executive‑level reporting and recommendations to the CFO and senior leadership on AR health, collections performance and cash‑flow risks.
• Develop, maintain and enforce global collections policies, contact cadence, escalation procedures, payment‑plan guidelines, write‑off authority and service‑suspension standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal controls and company policies across all regions.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level leadership experience in collections, credit or accounts receivable management.
• Strong operational discipline and data‑driven decision‑making ability.
• Demonstrated capability to build and scale global processes in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent partnership skills with finance, sales, legal, operations and technology functions.
• Ability to handle complex escalations and high‑value disputes with sound judgment.
