Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to optimise software development and deployment processes across the firm. The role will work closely with development, operations and security teams to automate workflows, improve reliability and ensure scalability of applications in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests and deployments.
• Develop, maintain and version‑control infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline release processes and enhance system reliability.
• Support L1/L2 troubleshooting for non‑cloud based infrastructure and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting and execution to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a DevOps or similar engineering role, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and continuous delivery principles.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and drive technical standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on automation and efficiency.

Required skills

• Terraform (or comparable IaC tooling).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Automation of software builds, testing and deployment.
