Senior Designer (Social)

About the role

Brandtech+ is looking for a Senior Designer (Social) to shape the visual identity of a globally recognised brand across social platforms. Working remotely from South Africa, you will combine strategic insight with hands‑on design to create culturally relevant content that drives conversation and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute visual concepts that align with brand strategy and audience insights.
• Produce platform‑native creative for social, digital, OOH and POS touchpoints.
• Lead, mentor and guide a team of designers and content creators.
• Champion social‑first design standards and ensure all assets feel native to each platform.
• Integrate generative AI tools into the creative workflow to enhance efficiency and innovation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in social or digital design.
• Strong conceptual thinking paired with excellent hands‑on design execution.
• Ability to translate consumer insights and campaign briefs into authentic, inclusive visuals.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑impact work at newsroom speed.
