Senior Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen our security posture. You will monitor, analyse, and respond to threats while ensuring our security controls align with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network and system activity to detect potential breaches and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration tests to evaluate control effectiveness.
• Investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and implement remediation.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best‑practice documentation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to embed security into system and network designs.
• Stay up‑to‑date on emerging threats, regulatory changes, and cybersecurity trends.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance across the organisation.
• Assist with the deployment and tuning of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity roles.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
