Sales Representative II

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Sales Representative II to drive growth across its consumer‑goods portfolio in South Africa. You will lead a small team, develop sales strategies, and ensure revenue and volume targets are met in line with the Annual Operating Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop sales staff to achieve category growth.
• Conduct market visits and introduce merchandising and display techniques.
• Monitor competitor activity and keep the organization updated on customer status.
• Identify and acquire new business opportunities.
• Analyze sales data and generate insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Compile and implement sales and promotional plans.
• Visit, support, and resolve complaints for assigned customers.
• Prepare monthly sales reports.

Required profile

• Three‑year Business or Commercial tertiary qualification or equivalent.
• At least three years of FMCG experience, including one year in a direct selling role.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong leadership, communication, and clerical/computer abilities.
