Sales Consultant – Hygiene & Pest Control (Durban/Umhlanga)

About the role

Our client is looking for a results‑driven Sales Consultant to boost market growth and expand a high‑performance sales portfolio in the hygiene and pest‑control sector. The role involves proactive prospecting, networking and cold‑calling to secure new business across Durban and Umhlanga.

Key responsibilities

• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Generate new prospects through cold calling, referrals and networking.
• Schedule and conduct site surveys to assess customer needs.
• Prepare quotations and deliver presentations for the Office Services division.
• Maintain and develop a sales pipeline, forecasting business weekly, monthly and quarterly.
• Enter all client interactions and opportunities into the CRM system.
• Coordinate hand‑over of documentation to Installations and Finance and drive installations to completion.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• 3–5 years of external sales experience in the hygiene and pest‑control industry.
• Strong prospecting and closing abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Proven track record of achieving targets within budget.
• Good planning, organising, presentation and interpersonal skills.
