Sales & Brand Partnerships – Cape Town

About the role

Sky Blue Media is looking for a dynamic professional to drive sales and brand partnerships in Cape Town. You will connect brands with film, OTT and TV projects, creating integrated moments that resonate with audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Map the regional market for brands and agencies, understand brand positioning and upcoming campaigns.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities for in‑film brand integrations, co‑branded promotions and media alliances.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with brand senior management and agency SPOCs.
• Conceptualise creative brand solutions aligned with film storylines and target audiences.
• Pitch SkyBlue Cinematix projects to brands and agencies, preparing proposals, presentations and case studies.
• Collaborate with media planning, buying, creative and legal teams to align integrations with broader campaign strategies.
• Negotiate and finalise deals, ensuring win‑win outcomes for brands and production stakeholders.
• Track performance metrics, prepare post‑integration reports and ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of proven success in business development, sales, brand partnerships or strategic partnerships within media, entertainment or advertising.
• Demonstrated ability to close deals and manage client relationships.
• Strong understanding of film, OTT and TV production cycles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
