Salaried GP – £11,000 per session, 12 patients, no routine visits

About the role

This is a salaried General Practitioner position in a close‑knit teaching practice in Scarborough. The role offers a calm, sustainable working day with a clearly defined patient load and no routine home visits.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 12 scheduled 15‑minute appointments per session (4‑6 sessions per week).
• Participate in half‑day on‑call duties only, finishing work by 5:30‑6:00 pm.
• Attend daily coffee breaks and weekly clinical meetings.
• Contribute to teaching activities for HYMS students.
• Collaborate with the data quality team to reduce pathology workload.

Required profile

• Qualified General Practitioner, registered with the GMC and on the UK performers list.
• Commitment to a teaching environment and willingness to support special‑interest training.
