About the role
The Salesperson will support daily sales for the HiFi Corp unit at Trade Route Mall, engaging customers, recommending products and helping the store meet its revenue targets. This entry‑level position is ideal for an energetic, customer‑focused individual looking to start a retail career.
Key responsibilities
- Engage customers, identify needs and recommend suitable products to generate sales.
- Work towards and achieve store sales budgets and performance targets.
- Provide professional customer service to encourage repeat business.
- Assist with merchandising to maintain an attractive retail environment.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately according to company policies.
- Develop product knowledge across all categories to support informed recommendations.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- 7–12 months of sales experience, preferably in a retail setting.
- Strong interest in sales and customer service.
- Ability to work towards and meet sales targets.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn product information and retail processes.
