About the role

Rage is seeking enthusiastic Retail Assistants to join its stores in Gauteng. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work directly with customers, support daily store operations and gain valuable experience in the retail sector. Candidates with Grade 10, 11, 12 (Matric) or higher qualifications are welcome to apply. All applications will undergo Rage’s recruitment and verification procedures before final selection.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Help customers locate products and provide information on prices, promotions and stock.
• Support sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Keep shelves, displays and product areas neat, organized and correctly stocked.
• Assist with unpacking, sorting, replenishing and checking product presentation.
• Ensure products are correctly displayed according to planograms.
• Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.
• Adhere to company policies and store procedures.
• Support colleagues with daily store activities.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for shoppers.

Required profile

• Grade 10 qualification.
