About the role

Busamed Gateway Private Hospital is recruiting registered nurses to provide nursing care under the direct and indirect supervision of the unit manager, within the scope of practice for a registered nurse.

Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive quality nursing care to patients based on individualised needs.
Ensure the ward team follows Infection Prevention Standards.
Manage waste safely to maintain a safe patient area.
Control costs through economic use of stock and accurate charging of items.
Serve as a clinical resource and role model for the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.
Compliance with the SANC code and applicable health care legislation.
Experience in private healthcare or healthcare funding industry is advantageous.
