About the role
Ready to take formulations from the bench to the shelf? Here, the lab is yours to run. Reporting to the Head of R&D, you will lead the laboratory and drive projects from stability testing to commercial launch.
Key responsibilities
- Develop weekly lab plans, maintain project trackers and report progress to the Head of R&D.
- Manage new product development and formulation upgrades from stability through to launch.
- Lead raw material, packaging and regulatory change projects.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, Bills of Materials, MMIs and Change Control documentation.
Required profile
- BSc in a relevant science, a formulation diploma and a postgraduate Project Management qualification.
- 6 to 8 years experience in consumer products R&D, including 5 years in a management role.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on deadline and within budget.
- Commitment to developing chemists, not just managing them.
Required skills
- Stability testing and scale‑up to commercial batch.
- Syspro BOM and job card maintenance.
- Batch troubleshooting in collaboration with Manufacturing and QA.
