About the role
Take full cost ownership of your own projects in a Pretoria‑based role with an established employer and a steady project pipeline. The position offers a consistent workload, a location that avoids the Johannesburg commute, and a clear path to a Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
Key responsibilities
- Measure and price works from architect and engineer drawings.
- Value subcontractor work and monitor site progress.
- Approve orders against budget and report the cost position each month.
- Provide cost data that guides decisions and supports site teams.
Required profile
- BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying.
- Three to five years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Confidence in measuring and pricing from drawings at current market rates.
- Experience with subcontractor valuations and progress valuations for funding draws.
- Strong budget monitoring, forecasting and cost reporting abilities.
- Accuracy under pressure and discretion with confidential information.
