About the role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support our client’s civil engineering projects across Gauteng. The QS will act as the financial backbone of construction operations, working closely with site agents, construction managers and surveyors.
Key responsibilities
- Measure work on site, identify scope gaps in Bills of Quantities and maintain accurate cost control.
- Produce monthly cost reports, interim certificates and budget forecasts for multiple projects.
- Provide professional QS support to all sites, spending at least 50 % of time on‑site.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum five years’ experience in civil engineering construction measurement.
- Based in Johannesburg or Pretoria and willing to travel regularly to sites.
- Strong numeracy, financial acumen and solid understanding of tendering processes.
