Pump & Tank Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Pump & Tank Technician to join our team in Benoni, South Africa. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fuel pump and tank systems that support critical fuel distribution operations in a fast‑paced petrochemical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair fuel pumps and tank systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and execute effective repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Support project work and system upgrades as required.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.

Required profile

• 3–5 years’ experience with fuel pumps, tank systems or related mechanical equipment.
• Strong understanding of fuel distribution systems and associated components.
• Experience in maintenance, fault finding and repairs on pumps and tanks.
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance within the fuel or energy sector.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
