Property Portfolio Manager – Sectional Title

About the role

This position is based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town and focuses on managing sectional title and homeowners’ association properties across the Western Cape. The role offers a fast‑paced environment for professionals seeking to develop their property management expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance management, health and safety compliance, and common property maintenance contracts.
• Conduct site visits, manage special projects and coordinate insurance policies and claims.
• Apply detailed knowledge of the Sectional Title Act, CSOS requirements and related statutory documents.
• Handle budgeting, audit interpretation, payment processes and monthly management accounts.
• Manage utility platforms, readings, billing and liaison with service providers.
• Supervise assistant portfolio manager, building staff and external contractors.
• Coordinate security systems, access control and on‑site security procedures.
• Prepare and distribute building correspondence, minutes of meetings and follow‑up on action items.

Required profile

• Degree in property studies or related qualification (advantageous).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sectional title or homeowners’ association management.
• Knowledge of the Sectional Title Act, Health & Safety Act and basic financial principles.
• Proven ability to communicate with trustees, owners, tenants and service providers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Hubspot CRM platform.
