Property Host – Independent Contractor (Langebaan)

About the role

As a Property Host you will be the face of our operations, overseeing cleanliness, maintenance and overall guest satisfaction for each short‑term rental property.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for guests throughout their stay, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.
• Provide property information, check‑in/check‑out details and local recommendations, and address special requests.
• Inspect properties regularly to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules, maintain property supplies and monitor safety features such as locks and smoke detectors.
• Personalise guest stays with welcome packages and local guides, and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
• Manage minor maintenance issues, arrange repairs and communicate damages to the portfolio manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality, property management or customer service, preferably with short‑term rentals.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to handle multiple properties and tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• A passion for providing outstanding service and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Must have your own cleaning staff and be able to coordinate them to maintain high standards.
