Product Manager

About the role

Our client, an established South African fintech operating in the residential real‑estate sector, is looking for a commercially astute and technically curious Product Manager. You will drive the evolution of its technology platform, balancing client needs, commercial priorities and technical realities to create measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refine product vision, strategy and roadmap, translating them into clear priorities and investment decisions.
• Engage with clients, partners and market participants to identify needs, translate insights into product opportunities and use rapid prototyping, including AI, to test ideas.
• Lead cross‑functional delivery, commercialisation and go‑to‑market readiness, overseeing proposition design, pricing, positioning and client adoption.
• Own product planning, business‑case assumptions, budgets and investment tracking while incorporating legal, compliance and data‑governance requirements.

Required profile

• A relevant tertiary qualification in business, sciences, engineering, technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience owning technology‑enabled products or platforms from strategy through delivery and commercialisation, preferably in fintech, proptech, financial services or residential property.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to influence technical, commercial and executive stakeholders.
