Primary School Maths Teacher (Temporary)

About the role

SPARK Schools is seeking a passionate Primary School Maths Teacher on a temporary basis to join its Rosslyn Hub. The role involves delivering the PR1ME Maths curriculum to learners, supporting blended classroom and online instruction, and fostering a culture of high expectations and academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily maths lessons for grades assigned, typically from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm.
• Collaborate with grade‑level and subject partners to design rigorous, engaging learning experiences.
• Develop individualized behaviour and learning plans for all students.
• Administer weekly and termly assessments, analyse data and track student progress.
• Lead weekly SEL (Social‑Emotional Learning) circles and implement SPARK’s SEL framework.
• Participate in pre‑service professional development before the school year and attend weekly PD sessions on Monday afternoons.

Required profile

• Qualified primary‑school teacher with a focus on mathematics.
• Experience teaching the primary maths curriculum and ability to adapt to blended learning environments.
• Commitment to student achievement and proficiency targets.
• Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
