About the role

The Groupe Hospitalier de la Rochelle‑Ré‑Aunis is seeking a qualified practitioner for its Medical and Rehabilitation Care service located at the Château de Marlonges. The position starts as a 60 % part‑time role with the possibility to evolve into a full‑time appointment, beginning February 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients within the Medical and Rehabilitation department.
• Conduct medical examinations, diagnose conditions, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and follow rehabilitation plans.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and emergency coverage as required by the hospital.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with French medical regulations.

Required profile

• Medical doctor registered with the French Conseil de l’Ordre des Médecins.
• General practitioner qualification.
• Willingness to work under public hospital status (PH or PHC).
• Availability to start in February 2026.
