Post Basic Qualified Pharmacist Assistant – Online Pharmacy Operations

As a Post Basic Qualified Pharmacist Assistant you will support the daily operations of our online pharmacy, ensuring safe dispensing, accurate prescription processing, and excellent patient service.

Key responsibilities

• Process and dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Capture, verify, label, pick, pack and supply medication accurately.
• Maintain compliance with SAPC regulations and internal SOPs.
• Assist patients with medication queries and provide appropriate guidance.
• Process medical aid claims and resolve related issues.
• Monitor and manage dispensary stock, including receiving and inventory control.
• Support efficient order fulfilment and timely delivery of pharmaceutical care.

Required profile

• Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification.
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
• Experience in retail, online or community pharmacy environments.
• Fluent in English; additional South African language is advantageous.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Willingness to work shifts between 06:00 and 00:00 and overtime as required.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑volume online pharmacy setting.
