Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests.
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments or referrals.
• Provide expert advice on eyewear selection, lens options, and contact lenses.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in optometry.

Required profile

• B.Optom degree and HPCSA registration.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy practice.
• Patient‑focused and professional approach.
• Genuine passion for optometry and delivering quality patient care.
