New Business Partner – Healthcare Logistics (East Rand)

About the role

We are looking for a driven New Business Partner to join a leading logistics organisation focused on the healthcare sector. The role involves identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities while building long‑term client relationships and meeting ambitious sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the healthcare and logistics sectors.
• Develop a deep understanding of prospective clients' operations and supply‑chain requirements.
• Present tailored logistics solutions that add measurable value to clients' businesses.
• Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking.
• Negotiate commercial agreements in line with company pricing and profitability objectives.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records and opportunities within the CRM system.
• Support the onboarding and implementation of new customers.
• Build strong internal relationships with operations and customer service teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and business insights to management.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years successful new‑business sales experience within logistics, road freight, transport, courier, supply chain or contract logistics.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare distribution or regulated healthcare logistics is essential.
