Network Engineering Manager

About the role

The Network Engineering Manager will lead the engineering team across the Ramp Group’s two carrier‑grade networks, Octotel and RSAWEB, driving operational excellence and strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operational duties are fulfilled and maintain network stability and uptime.
• Lead and manage a team of Network and Net‑SysAdmin engineers, providing coaching and performance oversight.
• Plan and execute network rollouts, vendor management and budget‑controlled network maintenance.
• Oversee security, product support, and continuous improvement of the RSAWEB network.
• Provide internal customer support and drive the group’s network strategy.

Required profile

• CCNP or CCSP certification with a valid Cisco number.
• 10+ years of experience in an ISP environment, including leadership of engineering teams.
• Project management and capacity‑planning experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.

Required skills

• Cisco routers and switches (IOS).
• Juniper routers and switches (JUNOS).
• Extreme Networks switches (EXOS).
• IP addressing and subnetting (IPv4 & IPv6).
• Routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• MPLS and Metro Ethernet protocols.
• Linux server administration.
• Radius (AAA) configuration.
• VMware and virtualization technologies.
• Source‑control tools (GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Monitoring tools (Netdata, Zabbix, Iris).
