MinePlan Engineer I

About the role

Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is looking for a MinePlan Engineer I to ensure the effective operation of Hexagon Mining’s mine planning software at customer sites. You will provide high‑level technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and help optimise solutions that improve safety, productivity, and efficiency in mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely, accurate troubleshooting for MineSight software worldwide.
• Follow support schedules to minimise client wait times and act as the primary contact for technical assistance.
• Own customer issues from identification through resolution or escalation.
• Participate in after‑hours on‑call support as required.
• Contribute to process improvements and document defects or enhancement requests for the product team.
• Create FAQs, self‑service videos, and provide client training when needed.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify service opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical support team.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and participate in on‑call rotations.
