Mid-Level SEO Specialist – Remote (South Africa)

About the role

We are looking for a mid-level SEO Specialist to join ClickExpose’s remote team in South Africa. You will work on multiple client websites, applying proven on-page and technical SEO techniques while developing performance-marketing expertise. The role offers structured training and a results-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve on-page and technical SEO across a portfolio of websites.
• Optimize page structure, headings, internal linking, meta titles, meta descriptions and implement schema markup.
• Conduct technical SEO audits, track issues and collaborate with developers when needed.
• Perform keyword research and search-intent analysis to guide content strategy.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify issues or opportunities, and make data-driven optimisation decisions.
• Test, iterate and report on SEO experiments to continuously improve results.
• Use AI-powered tools to accelerate research and drafting, followed by human quality assurance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience (not just coursework).
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace.
• Plan for load-shedding to stay online.
• Laptop or PC and a headset for virtual meetings.
