Maintenance Artisan – Millwright

About the role

The Maintenance Artisan (Millwright) ensures the smooth operation and reliability of equipment and infrastructure within Meat Markets. You will conduct routine inspections, perform repairs, support preventive maintenance programmes, and respond swiftly to equipment emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily inspections of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose faults and execute corrective repairs on machinery.
• Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance tasks.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergencies to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

• Strong technical aptitude with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.

Required skills
