Logistics Coordinator – SSA & MENA

About the role

Canadian Solar is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for its Cape Town office to support operations across SSA and MENA regions. You will help drive an agile supply chain, improve processes, and ensure timely delivery of solar products to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive an agile supply chain and support process automation/digitalisation projects.
• Act as the primary contact for all logistical topics.
• Coordinate with the in‑house sales team to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
• Monitor daily deliveries and proactively manage transport activities.
• Analyse shipping data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Liaise with forwarders/3PLs on transport status, delivery confirmations and delays.
• Create freight orders for selected carriers.

Required profile

• Commercial or business‑related higher education degree.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical abilities, high proactivity, reliability and multitasking capability.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans; additional languages are a plus.
