About the role

We are seeking a qualified Legal Advisor to join our team in Bloemfontein. The role focuses on managing litigation matters and providing commercial legal support to internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters and manage legal disputes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and contracts.
• Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders.
• Manage legal risk and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
• Liaise with external attorneys, counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.
• Assist with dispute resolution and settlement negotiations.
• Maintain accurate legal records and documentation.

Required profile

• Admitted attorney with a minimum of 2 years post‑admission experience.
• Essential experience in litigation.
• Commercial law and contract experience highly beneficial.
• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
