About the role
OVK Retail is offering a 2027 Learner/Apprenticeship Programme that combines practical experience in the retail and agriculture sectors. Successful candidates will work alongside the retail team, gaining business insight and developing new skills while completing a nationally recognised NQF Level 5 qualification.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in day‑to‑day retail operations and support agricultural activities.
- Collaborate with the retail team to learn customer service, marketing and business processes.
- Complete assigned training modules and practical projects to achieve the NQF 5 qualification.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) with subjects such as mathematics, accounting, agriculture or business preferred.
- Strong interest in a career in commerce, agriculture, customer service and marketing.
- Ability to work under pressure and a copy of the latest school report must be submitted.
Required skills
- Good communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office.
- Numerical aptitude and solid interpersonal skills.
