Labour Law Litigator (4 positions)

About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for four Labour Law Litigators to join our Johannesburg branch. The role involves handling all phases of Labour Law dispute resolution, from investigation through arbitration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client matters across the full spectrum of Labour Law ADR, including investigation, discovery, assessment, conciliation, settlement, mediation, and arbitration.
• Provide Labour Law advice, consult with clients, and discuss complex disputes.
• Analyze risk, research recent case law, and prepare clients for disputes.
• Draft correspondence to clients, CCMA, unions, and other parties; gather and analyse evidence and prepare witness testimonies.
• Represent clients at conciliation, arbitration, and pre‑arbitration proceedings, and update case status in the client management system.

Required profile

• LLB or B‑Degree in IR, Law, HR, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
• Admission as an Attorney or experience in CCMA/BC dispute resolution (advantageous).
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
