Junior Social & Content Manager – Sub‑Saharan Africa Hub

About the role

The Junior Social & Content Manager will lead the development and execution of a localized content and social media roadmap for the Sub‑Saharan Africa hub, ensuring brand consistency across digital touchpoints and driving measurable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and execution of a localized content and social media strategy aligned with broader business objectives.
• Oversee the creation, adaptation, and validation of content for all digital platforms, including social media channels and eCommerce product detail pages.
• Act as the primary liaison between Brand Marketing, global content hubs, and external creative agencies to maintain brand consistency.
• Utilize data‑driven insights to audit content integrity and optimise social media engagement for business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of digital marketing experience with hands‑on content creation and social media optimisation.
• Prior experience in the FMCG or technology‑based industry is highly preferred.
• Proven leadership experience managing multi‑level stakeholder groups.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of digital ecosystems, social media analytics and eCommerce platforms.
• Expertise in content management workflows and SEO‑optimized writing.
• Highly proficient in Google Suite and social listening tools.
