Junior SAIPA Accountant | Newly Qualified

About the Position

Join a dynamic and growing accounting firm located in the heart of Pretoria East. We are looking for a motivated and newly qualified SAIPA Accountant to become a key member of our expanding team and contribute to our clients' financial success.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including bank statement capturing and reconciliations.
• Calculate and process VAT, provisional tax, and income tax requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Handle client payroll processing with high accuracy.
• Manage CIPC compliance, including beneficial ownership submissions and annual returns.
• Ensure all financial reporting meets statutory requirements and deadlines.

Candidate Profile

• Recently completed SAIPA articles (Newly Qualified).
• Proactive professional with a strong sense of ownership and autonomy.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with clients.
• Bilingual proficiency in both English and Afrikaans is essential.
• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in CaseWare software.
• Strong knowledge of South African tax legislation and CIPC regulations.
• Expertise in financial statement preparation and management accounting.
• Proficiency in payroll administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
