Junior Handyman

About the role

Hollywoodbets is seeking a Junior Handyman to join the Team Support Office in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). The role involves basic maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and small jobs across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance and functionality of all branches.
• Conduct daily and weekly checks in liaison with Branch Managers and Senior Team Leaders.
• Perform generator tests and monitor fuel levels.
• Report water‑main leaks and carry out minor repairs where possible.
• Assist the regional Project Manager with minor upgrades, revamps and new shop fit‑outs.
• Use power and general tools for routine maintenance tasks.
• Manage regular equipment services, air‑conditioning changes and cleaning schedules.
• Maintain all types of air‑conditioners and extractors.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence.
• General building upkeep knowledge covering electrical, plumbing, painting, ceilings, generators and air‑conditioning.
• Preferably at least one year of building maintenance or handyman experience.
