Junior Graphic Designer and Social Media Coordinator

About the role

Our client in the east of Johannesburg is looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer and Social Media Coordinator to join their marketing team. This hands‑on position blends graphic design, product marketing, photography, packaging, video and social media content creation to bring products and brands to life across digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging marketing and promotional material for multiple brands, including packaging, labels, sales presentations and advertisements.
• Develop and maintain product catalogue content, photograph products, edit and retouch images, and produce technical illustrations.
• Produce static, animated and video content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and schedule publications.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams on product launches, campaigns, exhibitions and trade‑show materials.
• Take ownership of design projects from concept through to final delivery, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Required profile

• Degree or relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Communication or a related creative discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Solid understanding of layout, typography, branding and visual communication.
